Counseling
The Arlington Memorial High School School Counseling Department provides a wide range of services to assist students and families. Students and families should feel free to utilize the School Counseling Department's services regularly.
Typically 80% of AMHS students are college-bound. Of that 80%, 60% enroll at four-year colleges and 20% attend a two-year college. The non-college-bound students begin military services, enroll in specialized employment programs (trade schools) or enter the world of work.

Program of Studies
The Arlington Memorial High School Program of Studies is designed to help students and families plan a sequence of classes that both fulfill graduation requirements and prepares students for further education, additional training, or immediate jobs. The classes offered at AMHS are grouped by departments, which are listed alphabetically. All classes are open to every student as long as prerequisites are fulfilled. As students make their selection of classes, they should give careful consideration to requirements and personal interests. In addition to course descriptions, the Program of Studies identifies resources and offers general information to assist students and their families as they prepare for graduation and beyond.
If you need additional information or assistance with the Program of Studies, please contact Chantelle Lamoureux or Joanna Lederer-Barnes in the School Counseling Office.
